WebMar 9, 2012 · Considering what happened in Mecklenburg with the Shuffletown dragstrip, I doubt there will ever be a track in that county. I don't know the history of Mecklenburg, but if I had to take a guess it got closed because property owners around it complained? 23 acres is too small to make a track away from the property line.
